The LÜM Project is a partnership that was born out of friendship and need. Many of the women in Guatemala are talented and have learned weaving techniques from their mothers and grandmothers for many generations. Unfortunately, exploitation, poverty, sexual abuse, oppression, and lack of educational opportunities have created an environment of hopelessness for many women. The Lüm Project has given dignity, courage, empowerment and hope for the women involved in working on our team. We love to come together, to laugh, to cry, to pray, and to walk through this journey called life.  Please join us and become part of our team by purchasing these beautiful products made by these precious women.
